Los Angeles: Caitlyn Jenner's "I Am Cait" has tied with TLC's "I Am Jazz" to win the honour of outstanding reality program at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.

In its applauded first season, the show documented Jenner's transition and her introduction into the world as a transgender woman, including legally changing her name and accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYs.

Now currently in its second season, "I Am Cait" follows Jenner, 66, and her friends, including trans activists Candis Cayne, Chandi Moore and Jenny Boylan, as they embark on a cross-country road trip to raise awareness for LGBT issues, reported E! Online.

The other nominees in the reality television category included Discovery Life's "New Girls on the Block", "Oxygen's The Prancing Elites Project" and "Fuse's Transcendent".
