Liverpool, June 17: An entire truckload of copies of the new Harry Potter book, worth an estimated one million pounds (1.7 million dollars), has been stolen in northwest England, days before the eagerly awaited novel is due to appear in bookstores, police said today. A trailer containing thousands of copies of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was taken from a trading estate at Newton-Le-Willows, near Liverpool, on Sunday night, according to Merseyside Police. The vehicle was found the next day in a nearby town without its load. A police spokesman said, "The trailer contained about one million pounds' worth of the new Harry Potter book. We are not sure about the intended destination at this stage." Author J K Rowling's fifth Harry Potter Book, keenly awaited by fans around the world, is due to go on sale on Saturday. Bureau Report
