Mumbai, Dec 13: Noted filmmaker Yash Chopra today said he was "honoured" to be chosen for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award and described it "as a blessing from god".
"I am extremely happy to be chosen for the award. I have no words to express my feelings. It is a pleasant reward after nearly 51 years of journey in films," he told a news agency here.
"I feel elated that my name has been included among the great luminaries, whose films I have been watching for decades and to whom I have always looked upto," he said.
"I am happy that my work has been appreciated," Chopra said.
