Nyon, Dec 19: Valencia`s Miguel Angel Angulo was banned for their next three Champions League matches by European soccer`s governing body UEFA on Wednesday after his sending off against Arsenal earlier this month. Angulo, the Spain midfielder, was dismissed for elbowing Arsenal`s Pascal Cygan in the chest during the 0-0 CHampions League Group B draw at Highbury on December 10.

A UEFA disciplinary committee found Angulo guilty of violent conduct. The player is currently out through injury for up to six weeks as he recovers from a knee operation.
He will miss both Champions League games against AS Roma on February 18 and 26 plus the fixture at Ajax Amsterdam on March 11, but will be available for the home match with Arsenal on March 19.
