Los Angeles:"Agents of SHIELD" star Henry Simmons has become a series regular on the show.

The 44-year-old actor made his debut in the Marvel TV show during last year's season two premiere as Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie, a new member of Agent Coulson's team, reported Screen Rant.


Simmons will now appear as a regular from the start of the third season.


It follows the news that Luke Mitchell has also been promoted to the main cast for the show's third run.


His Lincoln Campbell was also a new character in the second season.


"Agents of SHIELD" was renewed for a third run on ABC earlier this year.
