The "Rock On!!" star is currently hosting reality TV show "I Can Do That", which is an adaptation of an American show of the same name.

When asked if there is an American show he would like to adapt for Indian audiences, Farhan said, "The one that I find very exciting, which I've been watching off late is 'House of Cards'. I find it quite incredible. I think that would make a very different, interesting kind of show for TV here," Farhan said in an interview here.

"House of Cards" deals primarily with themes of ruthless pragmatism, manipulation and power and stars Hollywood stalwarts Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

The 41-year-old "Dil Dhadakne Do" actor said bringing a concept like this would be nice as Indian TV is more melodrama-driven now.

"There was a time when we had a show about a political family... There was a lot more drama programming. Shows used to focus more on real drama which has become less now. Larger-than-life melodrama works these days. So, that (drama) would be nice to go back to," he said.

Farhan will be next seen along with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Bejoy Nambiar's "Wazir".
