New Delhi, Nov 30: External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha tonight said India does not want to initiate a dialogue with Pakistan at the summit level and would like the talks to begin at a lower level. "Our policy towards India-Pak dialogue is very clear. We want to begin talks at a lower level. We do not want that it should be at the summit level," Sinha said on a private television news channel.
Maintaining that India "is not working under pressure of anyone," Sinha said he was in favour of multilateralism and not a bipolar world.
Pakistan "is not the touchstone" of India's foreign policy, he said adding, "We have cordial relations with other neighbouring countries." Bureau Report
