Islamabad, Nov 09: Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance trade and economic cooperation in the public and private sector following trade agreements reached between them during Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's visit to that country. Chinese Exim Bank has agreed to extend concessional and preferential credit line of 500 million dollars to enhance exports and imports between the two countries, Pakistan's Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz, who accompanied Musharraf to China, said at a news conference yesterday. Aziz said China Development Bank has also expressed its interest to finance infrastructure development activities in Pakistan. Musharraf returned Saturday night after his visit to China and South Korea. Aziz said both the countries signed a preferential trade agreement during Musharraf's visit to China early this week. Under this agreement China will give concession on import of 893 items from Pakistan while it will get concession on 200 items. Aziz said China would send 100 engineers for hydrological survey in Thar Coal Project field.
