Ludhiana, Aug 26: Two persons were killed and another received serious burn injuries in a shoe factory fire near the clock tower market here, police said today.
"The devastating fire, suspected to be due to short-circuit, broke out around midnight yesterday," they said, adding the fire resulted in an explosion in the premises.
The injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital, police said, adding the victims have not been identified yet.
