New Delhi, Nov 02: Reacting sharply to Kerala Chief Minister A K Anthony's recent outbursts against Marxists, the CPI-M today said it was not conspiring to topple the Chief Minister as "his own Dee Marxists, the CPI-M today said it was not conspiring to topple the Chief Minister as "his own deeds would bring him down". "There is no need for any conspiracy on the part of CPI-M and LDF to topple Anthony. His own deeds are proving to be his undoing," CPI-M said in a statement here.
The intensification of the divisions within Congress by forces opposing Anthony's policies and CPI-M's attack seems to have led to the "unbalanced outbursts", the party claimed.
"The Kerala Chief Minister, beleagured by the sharp differences within his party, has found it expedient to launch an attack on CPI-M. The CPI-M and LDF in Kerala are in no way obliged to bale him out of the unenviable position he finds himself in," it said.
