Kathmandu, Oct 26: The naming ceremony of the second daughter of Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani was held at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace here today. The child was named 'Kritika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah' and the ceremony was performed as per Hindu traditions. Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa and Speaker of the House of Representatives Taranath Ranabhat attended the function, state run Radio Nepal said.

Princess Himani gave birth to the girl on October 16 here. Kritika is the third grandchild of King Gyanendra. The Crown Prince and the crown princess earlier had a son and a daughter.
