Sydney, Jan 17: Belgian world No.1 Justine Henin-Hardenne tuned up for next week`s Australian Open with a straight sets victory over Amelie Mauresmo in the final of the Sydney International here today. Henin-Hardenne beat the French world no.4 with 6-4, 6-4 for her 15th WTA singles title.
The Belgian had a few nervous moments before clinching victory on her fourth match point.
Mauresmo was playing her second match on the day after winning her rain-delayed semi-final against Italian Francesca Schiavone 6-3, 7-6 (7/2) earlier yesterday. Bureau Report
