Jerusalem, Feb 20: Wipro Spectramind, a subsidiary of Wipro, has signed an agreement with Israeli NICE Systems to deploy the latter's management solutions at its new contact centres in India .
NICE Systems, a leader in multimedia digital recording solutions, announced on Thursday that Wipro Spectramind would be using its systems at all new contact centres, with a combined seating capacity of over 2,000 agents. "Wipro Spectramind, which is the largest third-party offshore business process outsourcing provider in India , has extended its existing three-year relationship with us through our Indian partner, Tata Telecom," a NICE press release said here. To support the deal, and the demand for contact centre outsourcing to India , NICE has opened an office in Bangalore to promote sales and provide support services. Sunil Rawal, vice president (quality) at Wipro Spectramind, was quoted as saying, "The solutions that NICE has been already providing us with for a number of years are an integral part of the technology upon which our success is based."
