Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad, which has been blamed for the December 13 attack on Parliament, has denied its involvement in the incident but threatened to carry out "shocking attacks" in major Indian cities to create a situation where the BJP will lose power.
The outfit is not even remotely involved in the attack, it said in a statement issued to a local newspaper on Thursday after a meeting chaired by the commander-in-chief of the oufit Abu Hijrat.
"Inshallah (god willing) we will carry out shocking attacks in major Indian cities so as the BJP will lose power", the statement said.
If the BJP does not desist from what it called ugly activities, the retaliatory attacks will create history, said the statement signed by Abu Hamza, spokesman of the outfit.
The spokesman threatened that Jaish will intensify its activities in the coming days across Jammu and Kashmir.

"Now we will attack with more vigour the Indian para-military and military camps and inflict maximum casualties on them. We possess sophisticated weapons and they would be used against Indian forces", the spokesman claimed. Bureau Report
