Ara, May 28: At least 45 members of a marriage party, majority of them children, fell ill after consuming contaminated food in Ara town of Bihar's Bhojpur district, official sources said today. About 45 people, including children, were admitted to Sadar Hospital here after they complained of vomitting, following consumption of food at a marriage function at Jain Dharamshala, district civil surgeon R D Ranjan said here today. While some of them were still undergoing treatment, most of the admitted people were discharged after treatment this morning, he added. The marriage party had come from Danapur sub-division of Patna district. Bureau Report
