New Delhi, Nov 01: BSP supremo Mayawati declared an all-out war against the BJP for the forthcoming assembly polls in four states here today. Mayawati said that the party has decided not to contest on seats that it is unlikely to win. However, she declared that in such constituencies she will appeal to the Bahujan Samaj to vote against the BJP candidate.
Announcing that the BSP will be fielding 160 candidates in Madhya Pradesh, 125 in Rajasthan, 55 in Chhattisgarh and 40 in Delhi, Mayawati said she was confident that the party will fare very well in all the states.
While refusing to comment on the tacit alliance with the Congress, Mayawati said the party would do everything to ensure that the BJP did not come to power in any of the states. She said that even during the final calculations for the formation of governments, the BSP will extend their support against the BJP
"I want to ensure that no governments will be formed without the support and the consent of the BSP", Mayawati said. Bureau Report
