And the latest that we have heard about the actor is that he will be doing another biopic on a sportsperson after completing ‘Dhoni – The Untold Story’ based on India Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

According to a report in Mirror, Sushant will step in the shoes of athlete Murlikant Petkar to retell his journey on celluloid.

Petkar won an individual gold medal in the 1972 Paralympics that was held in Heidelberg, Germany. He also set a world record in the 50m freestyle swimming event, at 37.33 seconds.

Before getting into athletics, Petkar worked in the Indian army.

“It is an honour that a famous star like Sushant has shown interest in portraying me on screen. Till date, many people met me with lots of promises but nothing came of it,” Mirror quoted Petkar as saying.

Sushant is thrilled to be part of this project.

“Petkar's journey is extra-ordinary and so compelling that it can change many lives by motivating people to accomplish the unthinkable. I am extremely excited to be associated with this project from its nascent stage,” Sushant said to Mirror.
