Mumbai: Karan Johar roped in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor to play a romantic couple in his directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, a film which is currently in the production stage.

Buzz has it that the film had a kissing scene between the two. But reports suggest that the former Miss World had reservations doing the lip-lock scene with Ranbir!


Interestingly, this will be Aishwarya’s second film after ‘Jazbaa’, her comeback vehicle post motherhood. And this KJo film will be her first with RK.


Ash, who has kissed her co-stars in films earlier, apparently asked Karan to eliminate the scene as she wasn’t comfortable with it.


Slated to release on July 3, 2016, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also stars Anushka Sharma.
