The 72-year-old and the ‘PK’ director took to micro-blogging website Twitter to express how the trailer has impressed them.

“T 1873 - Journalist recommends this: @foxstarhindi @vinodcapri @saritasing watch ,” Big B tweeted.

Hirani wrote: “Just saw the trailer of Miss Tanakpur Haazir ho.http://bit.ly/MissTanakpurTrailer … interesting satire.”

The film, which stars Annu Kapoor, Rahul Bagga, Ravi Kishen and Hrishita Bhatt, is a political satire running along a perilous love story based in Tanakpur, a village in Haryana.

The 'pradhan' of Tanakpur, Sualal Gandas (Annu) rules the village with extensive powers, vested upon him by a 'Khap'. Incidentally, the cruel Sualal has a gentle, dreamy and much younger wife Maya (Hrishita) and as luck would have it, she falls in love with Arjun (Rahul), a man closer to her age and heart.

Presented by Fox Star Studios, ‘Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho’ is set to release on June 19.
