Washington: Disney's 'Cinderella' has topped the weekend box-office after raking-in a little more than 70 million dollars, it has been reported.

Cinderella ranks as his highest opening beating his Marvel 'Thor' which opened to 65.7 million dollars at the weekend box-office, Deadline.com reported.


Lily James, Richard Madden Disney distribution chief Dave Hollis said that ' Cinderella's success boiled down to the production and marketing components at Disney.


Warner Bros.' 'Run All Night' secured the second position at the box-office with 11.015 million dollars collection in their kitty followed by Fox's spy action movie 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' with total 5-week collection of 107.3 million dollars.


Warner Bros. 'Focus' managed to slip in the fourth position with 3-week collection of 44 million dollars and Sony's 'Chappie' secured the fifth position at the weekend box-office with 23.3 million dollars earnings.
