New Delhi: Bollywood film 'The Lunchbox' has been nominated for the Foreign Film Category of the Bafta Awards 2015.

The movie has been internationally acclaimed and the performances have been appreciated all over the world, going to many prestigious film festivals.


Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his pride for being a part of the team.

Directed by Ritesh Batra, 'The Lunchbox' was released in India in 2013, and hit the British screens in 2014.

The movie revolves around a unique love story between a lonely man and a housewife. The movie has has gone o various international film festivals, including those in Cannes, Zurich, London and Toronto.
