New Delhi: One of the most awaited films of 2016, 'Sarbjit' starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha has hit the screens today. The film has been directed by 'Mary Kom' fame filmmaker Omung Kumar.
Based on the real-life incident where Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh was mistaken as a spy by Pakistani officials, and later killed in the prison there, captures the plight of his family back home.
Ash will be seen playing Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, who fought for her brother's justice. Pallavi Patra of Zee News Online is watching the film right now.
