"I don't believe in remakes or recreating anything. If I had to I would like to recreate 90s songs. I would like to recreate 'Meri Pant Bhi Sexy'...do it in rock style...do it with guitar. It will be fun," Ayushmann told PTI in an interview, when asked which song he would like to recreate.

These days music companies are coming up with music videos of actors. Ayushmann, who has been part of three singles – 'O Heeriye', 'Mitti Di Khusboo', 'Yahi Hoon Main', thinks it is a great trend. "It's great time for independent music (single). In the 90s, pop music was very popular and then after 2000 there was a lull. Now, again music companies and actors are collaborating for music videos. The singles are different and experimental," he said.

Ayushmann has performed in the season five of 'MTV Unplugged', a TV series showcasing popular musical artists usually playing acoustic instruments. The songs featured on the show are mostly officially released earlier by artists.

The 'Vicky Donor' actor tried crooning different version of his two singles - 'Mitti Di Khusboo' and 'Yahi Hoon Main' on MTV Unplugged. "It's not challenging rather it is more interesting as I can have more than one different take on a song. You can get experimental without the pressure of the label," he said. Ayushmann felt excited and at the same time nervous to sing live.

"The feeling of doing live is amazing. I enjoy performing in front of the audience. But at the same time I was nervous. They (audience) judge it immediately," he added. The episode was aired yesterday on MTV channel.
