Miley Cyrus has a place at Glastonbury: Michael Eavis
Michael Eavis would like to see Miley Cyrus perform at the festival.
Los Angeles: Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis insists pop star Miley Cyrus has " a place" at the music festival and is an artist he'd be interested in seeing perform.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker has reportedly been in talks about appearing at the world famous festival in 2016 and although the organiser won't confirm whether she has been approached or not, he insists she'd definitely fit the bill and is an artist he's interested in, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
In an interview with the newly launched Loaded website, Eavis said: "People keep asking me if Miley Cyrus is playing. I can't say 'Yes' or 'No' to any name, because it only adds to the speculation about who will be appearing. But I think everyone has a place at Glastonbury.
“We have 20 different stages at Glastonbury, and that's one of the things that helps make it the greatest show on earth. We've had Kanye West, Beyoncé, Metallica and Jay Z headline Glastonbury, and that's shown that everyone is welcome."
Cyrus, 22, who is currently planning to play a naked concert with her friend Wayne Coyne - a veteran of Glastonbury with his band The Flaming Lips - and would be sure to bring excitement and controversy to the event in Worthy Farm, Somerset, South West England.
