Islamabad, Mar 13: Pakistan's coast guard has arrested 36 Indian fishermen in the Arabian Sea bringing the total number of such detention to 68 in the past few days for allegedly violating its territorial waters. Five boats were also seized along with the fishermen yesterday, 60 kms southeast of Karachi by a patrol boat.

A few days ago, 32 Indian fishermen from Guajrat were arrested by Pakistan.
With the fresh arrest, the total number of Indian fishermen now in detention in Pakistani jails have gone upto 200.

Last month, Pakistan had released 281 Indian fishermen from Karachi. About 100 pakistani fishermen were reported to be detained in India for fishing in Indian waters.
