New Delhi, July 13: India finished a disappointing ninth, a full 49 strokes behind winners South Korea, in the 26th Queen Sirkit Cup Women's Golf Championship held at the Woo Jung Hills Country Club near Seoul.
The Indian team comprising of Shruti Khanna, Mayali Talwar and Vandana Agarwal came up with a poor show Friday even as the hosts dominated the proceedings with their superior skills on the final day.
Shruti came up with the best performance among the three Indians finishing at 19th position with a tally of 239, followed by Mayali at 240. Vandana finished 23rd at 245 as India aggregated a total of 477, according to information received here.
Korea lifted the championship with a tally of 428, eight strokes better than second placed Japan who scored 436. Australia finished third at 441.
Final individual scores (India): Shruti Khanna 239 (78, 80, 81); Mayali 240 (82, 78, 80); Vandana (86, 79, 80).



Final team scores: Korea 428, Japan 436, Australia 441, Chinese Taipei 454, New Zealand 458, Thailand 469, China 475, Hong Kong 476, India 477, Singapore 504.
