Yahoo Japan, Softbank and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) said on Thursday they have agreed to jointly offer new high-speed Internet broadband services in the spring of 2002. The new services will be offered to users of PlayStation 2, a popular game console made by SCE, a fully owned game-making unit of Sony.
Earlier this month, Sony and Japan's dominant telecoms carrier, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp, said they had joined hands to introduce online game services for PlayStation 2 console. Bureau Report
