London, June 26: Describing Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee`s current visit to China as `landmark`, British ambassador to China Sir Christopher Hum has said that it would pave the way for increased trade between the two countries.
London, June 26: Describing Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's current visit to China as "landmark", British ambassador to China Sir Christopher Hum has said that it would pave the way for increased trade between the two countries.
"China is moving in a constructive way and this visit of your Prime Minister (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) is very much a landmark visit," Sir Hum told a group of Indian journalist here last evening.
Vajpayee is currently on a six-day visit to China, which concludes on Friday.
"The visit will help gradually improve and increase bilateral trade and the visit is absolutely part of the trend," Sir Hum said.
