Rescue workers aided by a lull in rain built sandbag walls on a river bank and searched for bodies on Tuesday as the death toll in Thailand's floods rose to 105 including 21 students of one school.
The floods, which began Saturday, hit six northern and two northeastern provinces, but the worst affected area was Nam Kor village in Phetchabun province where 90 of the deaths occurred. Nine people were killed in Udon Thani province and six in Chiang Ma province.
Two bodies were recovered on Monday in Nam Kor while rescue teams searched for 32 others still missing, Samran Boonrodrid, chief of Lomsak district, where Nam Kor is located, said.
