Former Bihar Chief ministers Laloo Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra, besides two others, currently in judicial remand, would be produced in a designated CBI court here on December 20 in yet another case of the multi crore Fodder Scam.
Production warrants against the four named accused in RC 20(A)/96 case of the scam, were issued by the court of designated CBI judge P R Das during a hearing on Friday. While RJD chief Laloo Yadav and Mishra are in jail in connection with RC 47(A)/96, the other two accused S K Mehra and S Tirkey are behind bars in connection with a different case of the scam.
Laloo Yadav will be flown here tomorrow from Patna to be produced before the special CBI court of H C Mishra here on December ten in connection with a conspiracy angle case RC47(A) of the scam. The RJD chief and Mishra had been remanded to 14 days judicial custody after their bail pleas were turned down when they surrendered in Mishra's court on November 26. Laloo Yadav, lodged in the Beacon Factory Guest House turned camp jail here, had been taken to Patna on December three to be produced in the court of designated CBI judge S K Mishra in a disproportionate assets case.
The RJD chief was likely to return to Patna again on December 11 following a directive of a special court in Patna asking him and Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi to appear before it on December 13 for recording their statements in connection with the disproportionate assets case against them.
