Mumbai, Mar 16: Nataraj Krishnan is Dr Lotto. His aim is to find an answer to the secret geometry of chance and the hidden law to a probable outcome and he holds the key to every man’s dream of winning mega-lotteries.
A system analyst and software designer by profession, Mr Krishnan’s fascination with numbers and their movements led him to find a way that enhances the chances of winning mega-lotteries by over 70 per cent.
Mr Krishnan said, "Encoding the secret behind mega-lotteries has been a passion ever since I bought my first Playwin ticket. While buying the ticket, I realised that most people try to pick lucky numbers but are unaware of how to do that. The fact that millions of people were trying their luck got me thinking and I decided to design a software which would help them in choosing lucky numbers."
Mr Krishnan’s software Dr Lotto decodes sets of numbers and provides the user with combinations. The software is the product of years of devoted research on lotteries. "I chose five most popular lotto games and started working on the permutation and combinations," he said.
What should take days at human speed, takes minutes when using the software. "After loading the software CD, users have to choose any one of the five games and put in their set of numbers. If
a person is playing Maha Lotto and enters 61 numbers, the software reduces it to a choice of 18 numbers through a variety of permutation combinations. In lotto games, where one has to choose around 10 numbers, the highest the software can choose is three to four numbers. However, even this increases the chances of winning by narrowing down the choices," Mr Krishnan added.
Built on a Visual C++ platform, the user-friendly software has a "Help" menu which can be used as the user manual. "All one has to do is try and understand the software."
While all steps have been elaborated, it has a separate "Frequently Asked Questions" section. "If used properly, it will make a user win constantly on more than one ticket," Mr Krishnan said.
He added that despite being in English, most users will not face problems in picking their numbers. However, to make it more accessible, he is planning to release the software in Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi next month, followed by Tamil, Telugu and Kannada later this year. Priced at Rs 199, the software comes with a book, elaborating the process of choosing numbers and combinations, Mr Krishnan added.
