The Army has destroyed an ULFA camp in the jungles of Dibrugarh district of Assam, an Army press release on Sunday said.
The Army spotted the camp deep inside Jaipur reserve forest on Friday last, the release said. On seeing the troops near the camp, ultras fled, the release said, adding one AK 47 bolt action rifle, 56 rounds of assorted ammunition and several other articles of daily use were recovered.
The camp was destroyed by the Army, who also cordoned off the area and launched large scale search operation for the ultras, it added. Bureau Report
