Raj announces DA installments for state employees
Jaipur, Oct 06: Rajasthan government today announced two installments of dearness allowance to its staff putting an additional burden of Rs 210 crores to the state exchequer. The two installments of DA would be given to the state staff with effect from January and July this year at the rate of three per cent and four per cent respectively, official sources said here.

While the first installment of DA, due from January, will be paid cash from October salary, the arrears up to September will be deposited in the general provident fund of the employees, the sources said.
Similarly, the second installment of DA will be paid cash with effect from April next year and the arrears between July this year and March next year would be deposited in GPF of the staff, sources added. Bureau Report
