New Delhi, Sept 10: Health minister Shatrughan Sinha, attending the meeting of the health ministers of South-East Asian region organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) at Jakarta on Monday, appealed for a larger share of global funds for India to fight AIDS. He emphasised the importance of availability of cost effective quality drugs for improving the health of people in developing countries.
He said India would be presenting its proposal for HIV/AIDS and TB before September 22, according to an official release. Bureau Report
