CBI serves notice to Madhumani as she goes `missing`
New Delhi, Nov 13: CBI today served a notice to Madhumani, wife of Amarmani Tripathi, to appear before the agency for questioning after she allegedly went into hiding following the arrest of Prakash Chander Pandey, alleged killer of Madhumita Shukla.

killer of Madhumita Shukla.
The agency served a notice under section 160 of criminal
procedure code at her residence asking her to appear before
CBI officials at its camp office in Gorakhpur, CBI sources
said.
The CBI had carried out searches at various places in
Uttar Pradesh to trace her.
Relatives of Madhumani residing in the national capital
were also being kept under surveillance.
A court in Lucknow had asked the CBI not to arrest her
until there was concrete evidence against her but had also
asked Madhumani to make herself available whenever required by
the investigating agency.
