Imphal, Oct 24: Militants have released the vice-president of the Amateur Boxing Federation of India, Khoibi Salam and two other state boxing association officials, who were abducted on October 18.
Imphal, Oct 24: Militants have released the vice-president of the Amateur Boxing Federation of India, Khoibi Salam and two other state boxing association officials, who were abducted on October 18.
Official sources said today Salam, also secretary general of Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) and two other MABA officials - identified as Narendra Singh and Chandrakanta Singh- were released at an interior area in Bishnupur district yesterday by activists of the banned People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Prepak).
Meanwhile, general surgeon of government hospital Achouba Singh and programme manager of the integrated cooperative development scheme of cooperation department T Mani Singh, earlier kidnapped by militants, were still untraceable, the sources said.
