Coimbatore, June 25: To decide its future strategy to fight the “anti-people” policies of both the Centre and Tamil Nadu governments, the state committee of CPI(M) would meet here for three days from today. The meeting would also take stock of political situation in the country, including the forthcoming assembly elections in five states scheduled later this year, the party district secretary, P R Natarajan told.
Politburo members R Umanath, P Ramachandran, central committee members, N Shankaraiah, T K Rangarajan and the state secretary, N Varadarajan would participate in the meeting, Natarajan said.
Public meetings would be held on all the three days, to highlight the “anti-people policies” of both the governments, he said. Bureau Report
