Srinagar, Sept 14: Jammu and Kashmir government has proposed a hike of Rs 267.84 lakh in the district plan for Pulwama in South Kashmir at Rs 56.57 crore for executing various development works during the current financial year. An amount of Rs 56.57 crore has been allotted for the district for executing various development works this year which was Rs 267.84 lakh more than last year's plan allocation, state revenue minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, who is chairman of district development board, Pulwama, said.

He said most of the funds would be utilised for completing the ongoing development schemes in the district during the current financial year.
