Los Angeles, Aug 09: Oracle on Friday said it was extending its $7.3 billion hostile tender offer for rival business software maker PeopleSoft from August 15 to September 19. "We are extending our offer for PeopleSoft and we remain fully committed to acquiring PeopleSoft," Oracle spokesman Jim Finn, said in a statement.
PeopleSoft has rejected Oracle's offer, which currently is undergoing an antitrust review by the Department of Justice. Bureau Report
