Pak intruder killed, BSF jawan injured in border firing

The intruder was spotted by bsf personnel while trying to
sneak into Kanachak sector of Jammu division via
Alah-Mae-Di-Kothi (AMDK) border outpost last night under cover
of firing by Pakistani rangers, they said.
When he refused to stop on being challenged, BSF personnel opened fire and an exchange of firing took place in which the intruder was killed, the sources said.
The body of the intruder was still lying in the mine fields of AMDK area, they said.
BSF head constable Anil Kumar was injured when Pakistani troops fired on Suchetgarh area of Jammu district in the wee hours, the sources said.
Indian troops retaliated and an exchange of fire between the two sides continued for some time, they said.
Intermittent exchange of small arms fire between the two sides along the international border was also reported at few places in R.S.Pura and Samba sectors, the sources said. Bureau Report
