Madison, Oct04: John Huston shot his second consecutive round of 66 to hold a two-stroke lead at the halfway stage of the Southern Farm Bureau Classic. Huston began the second round in a three-way tie for the lead and ended it on 12-under par after a bogey-free round. His first round co-leader Hidemichi Tanaka is second after recovering from a double bogey at the 10th to shoot five birdies on the back nine for a 68. South Africa`s Tim Clark and Chris Anderson both matched Huston`s 66 to lie third on nine-under. Britain`s Luke Donald, the defending champion shot a 67 and is tied on eight-under along with Japan`s Shigeki Maruyama and Paul Stankowski.
"I played probably better today than I did in my opening round," Huston admitted. "I missed a couple of short birdie putts, but other than that I did putt pretty well. Everything was clicking pretty well."
The other first-round co-leader, Carlos Franco, fell off the pace with a 72 that left him six strokes back.
