The controversial Baba Singh Bhaniarawale, who was facing trial in as many as five case in various police stations, was released from the central jail. The 41-year old baba had been released from the jail after the Punjab government revoked the National Security Act (NSA) against him, but he was rearrested under sections 107 and 151 (assembly of five or more persons) of the IPC soon after his release.
Bhaniarawale was granted bail in two cases one each at Morinda and Nurpur Bedi Police Stations in Ropar district late last year.
The 41-year old baba was lodged at the central jail in Patiala following the incidents of burning incidents in Ropar and Fatehgarh Saheb. Bureau Report
