Kathmandu, Nov 18: Nepal today said that since both India and Nepal are suffering the menace of terrorism, India should hand over Maoist rebels to the Himalayan kingdom and join hands in fighting terror. "As India had expressed commitment to help Nepal combat Maoist terrorists when Nepal declared war on terrorism imposing emergency, India should hand over the Maoists to Nepal to fulfil her commitment," said Badri Prasad Mandal, Deputy Prime Minister and acting President of Nepal Sadbhavana Party. Mandal's remarks came in response to some media reports that at the request of the UN High Commission for Refugees India may not hand over Maoists to Nepal.

Since Nepal and India both are suffering from the menace of terrorism, both the countries should join hands in fighting terror, Mandal told the national news agency (RSS). He said the government is ready to hold election in May if all the sides extend cooperation to it.
