Estoril, Sept 09: Italy's Valentino Rossi on a Honda won the 500cc Portuguese Grand Prix here Sunday at the Automotodromo Fernanda Pires da Silva, beating Spanish rival Carlos Checa of Yamaha and Japan's Tohru Ukawa of Honda.
