Chandigarh, June 11: A local court today sent suspended judicial magistrate S S Bhardwaj, allegedly involved in a graft case, to CBI custody till June 14. Chief Judicial Magistrate C L Mohal handed down the order in a packed court room here after hearing arguments from the petitioner and the prosecution. The court also directed that a counsel would be present during the interrogation of Bhardwaj in the CBI custody.
It also directed that Bhardwaj, who was reportedly "arrested" by the CBI from Panchkula near here yesterday, would be allowed to meet his counsel and relatives twice a day. The meeting period would be half-an-hour in the morning and one hour in the evening.

Bhardwaj would also be examined medically every 48 hours. Bureau Report
