Two militants were killed and a CRPF jawan injured in separate militancy-related incidents in Doda district of Jammu division, where security forces recovered ammunition and explosives Thursday, official sources said on Friday.
The sources said a militant was shot dead during an encounter at Dharpura in Doda district this afternoon. In another incident, a militant identified as Rasook Kalam was shot dead by security forces at Bonjwa in Thathri tehsil of Doda district on Thursday.
A CRPF driver was injured when an ied blast took place at Nachlana-Ramsoo, on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Thursday.
The blast took place when a convoy of CRPF vehicles was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu, they said, adding the driver was injured when window panes of the bus were smashed due to the impact of the blast.

Meanwhile, security forces during search operation in Dana-Gajna area of Doda district smashed a militant hideout and recovered 22 handgrenades, 10 electric detonators, 100 grams of RDX, one pistol with one magazine and seven RPG rounds.
