New York, Oct 30: In an effort to retain highly qualified workers in the competitive environment, ICICI onesource, one of India's largest third-party business process outsourcing services companies, has launched "career diversification programme" for its 4,000 contract center employees. The initiative is designed to give employees the opportunity to further advance their careers by moving to positions within the ICICI Group of companies, of which ICICI one-source is a part, Aashu Calapa, vice-president human resources, ICICI one source has said.
"This innovative programme is part of our larger human resources strategy to maintain the high levels of service that our clients have come to expect from us," said Calapa.

ICICI Group is a diversified financial services organization whose subsidiaries include ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank, and ICICI Infotech, a leading provider of information technology products and services.
Under the programme, employees who have been with ICICI one source for more than 18 months, can opt to switch to positions at other ICICI Group companies after passing several internal tests.

These professional development and career advancement opportunities, in industries such as insurance and banking, include positions in customer service, operations, sales and marketing, the official explained.
