Minister of State for telecommunication Tapan Sikdar on Tuesday asked the West Bengal police and BSF to step up vigil on the Indo-Bangla border to prevent Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence members from crossing over to the country. Fundamentalist elements and members of the ISI were entering the country when Hindu minorities are fleeing Bangladesh and taking shelter in Malda, Murshidabad, north and south Dinajpur, Nadia and North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal, he told reporters.
Pointing out that ISI was using Bangladesh for running terrorist training camps, Sikdar said the Pakistani intelligence agency was planning subversive activities in India from Bangladesh. Bureau Report
