France has recalled all non-essential diplomatic staff working in Pakistan, where 11 French nationals were killed in a suicide bombing earlier this month, the foreign ministry announced on Friday.
"We have asked our nationals whose presence is not essential to make arrangements to leave the country," said ministry spokesman Francois Rivasseau.

The decision comes two days after Britain decided to pull more than 150 diplomatic staff out of Pakistan, shut its chancelleries and advise its citizens to leave the country after receiving a string of security threats. Bureau Report
