Shillong, July 26: Police have arrested two ultras of Hyniewtrep National Liberation Council from the Pynursla check gate. The two HNLC militants arrested yesterday from the check gate were on their way to Bangladesh for training, police said here today.
Director general of police L Sailo said the HNLC had recruited many youths recently and was sending them for training to Bangladesh through various routes in east and west Khasi hills districts.
Police had earlier arrested two HNLC militants on Wednesday last.
